About Us

We are a nonprofit, Community Based Organization: We provide slum communities with tools to create bright futures for themselves. We empower youth and women, in Korogocho and Mathare slums of Nairobi- Kenya.

Our programs are geared towards economic, educational and human rights advancement. Since inception in 2011, we have helped over 10,000 vulnerable slum children complete basic education, and empowered 800 youth and 300 women through entrepreneurship and vocational training. We have also trained women on how to make solar cookers using locally available materials

Our Programs

Women Empowerment

We are putting initiatives in place to support women in their various homes and businesses.

Guidance & Counselling

Team from the Universities meeting and sharing experiences with the students.

Sanitary Towels are donated by Partners like Chandaria which we then distribute to the needy students in schools.

We meet donors and match them with needy students for sponsorship opportunities. When the Sponsor meets the students their is JOY all over!

Creative World!

Normally everybody has a way of supporting one another. We meet people who want to impact the lives of others positively in their own ways. We support them.

IT Programmes

CRESS Kenya has set up a Community Resource Center where slum communities acquire computer skills free of charge. They also get information on human rights.

School Visits

We create Platforms for students to visit and meet students on the ground. The experience is always satisfying as the people usually from both worlds meet.

Human Rights Awareness Trainings

We are setting up training sessions in Schools and at our Community Resource Center to train the young ones on Human trafficking.
